It’s a bit busy days here at the moment. The boys are moving in, my oldest son and a friend of him. And a colleague of my needed to travel in a rush to Norway for private reasons. Something that means it’s suddenly becsme a bit more work takes and do for me. That’s fine, the days goes very fast then, at the same time it get a bit busy too 😊.
I also have my online shift 5 evenings during the week,- and are also a teacher as well one evening in the week. And I do think a new student also is going to start next week with some intensive classes. This student is going to move to Norway in May. As long as I know theres a “stop- point” I think I will manage to be this student’s teacher for the nexts weeks 📚. If it hasn’t I don’t think I had said yes to teach this new student. Because it’s a bit of “this and that” around me in my life at the moment,- special in the working- area 😊. But I’m very grateful for that- it was not very fun last year when I hardly knew how to pay my bills 😔.
Busy days takes energy and also needed to be “refill” with more energy during good food, so ther will be no “collapse” during the nexts weeks 😅. So I did filled up my freezer with homemade pizza whrils/spins today 🍕. To use as some easy, good and tasty “filling” snacks in between my normal daily meals 😊. For me it’s important to keep up my energy with food,- and when I use more energy, even it is during work, I also need to eat. It’s like with exercises. As more as I exercise as more food need my body. Just because it also use the energy the food gives me 😊.
The recipe for homemade Norwegian pizza whrils/ spins 🍕
1. 750 gr flour, 1/2 l milk, 50 gr.melted butter, 1 tbsp yeast, 1 tbsp salt, 3 tbsp sugar. 2. Pizza spices, garlic salt, paprika spices, basil (spices or fresh). Grated cheese and a box of 500 grams of ham. This is for use after the dough has rised for 30 – 45.min.
1. Mix together the dry and the wet milk and butter. Make sure that the temp. Of milk and butter is just over 37 degrees. Then leaf everything together. Leave the dough to rise in a warm place for about 30-45 minutes and preferably with a towel over.
When the dough is finished, roll it like a flat rectangle. 2. Sprinkle with spices, add chopped ham and sprinkle with grated cheese. Roll the rectangle joint to roll a long sausage and divide into spins. Place the spins on a baking tray covered with baking paper. Let the spins rise once again for about 30 minutes with a towel over them.
After raising, brush the spins with either whipped egg or milk. It is important that the liquid is room-temperature. Pizza spins are roasted at 225 degrees in the middle of the oven for about 25 minutes.
This take a bit time to make, but its worth the time 🍕. How many you get depends a bit how big or small you make the whrils/ spins 😊. At least I have some food snacks to fill up my stomach and my energy level in between my ordinary meals during the nexts busy weeks 😊🍕.
This pizza whrils are perfect to make and just have in the freezer too as a lunch bit or some easy food when you have guests 😊🍕.
