1. April is just a joke 🥳🤭

Hi ❣ It’s so nice to see you,- like always 😊 I hope all is fine with you during this days and weeks we all are going through 🧡

Today is 1. April, and today it’s actually allowed to “take” a funny “white lie”, or tell a not truth joke with a touch of humor in 🤭. At least in all of Europe as well as in North America this is a “folk tradition”/ tradition between the people, but not any kind of Holyday, this 1.April 😊.

The origins of April 1 are somewhat debated.  There are French written sources which refer to April Fool’s in 1582, and Dutch written sources which refer to the custom in 1508. In Great Britain there are written sources dating back to the 18th century 📜.

2019

One thing is certain, however, and that is that the 1st of April custom originates from the universal celebration of spring equinox, which begins March 25 and ends April 21.  In conjunction with this period, reckless spring parties were arranged, with the world turned slightly on its head 🌱⚘.

April means “opening up, waking up” – and nature comes to life after winter 🌞❄.

At the old spring equinoxes, the alcohol flowed freely, people fasted and drank, and the life general had “mediating” circumstances, even the lawless received mitigating penalties during this period.  The spring break parties were in a sense a “safety cord”, at the same time a small respite, to the otherwise strict and authoritarian system 🤸‍♀️🥳.

During the spring feasts, the world turned a bit on its head.  It was allowed to throw flour and rotten tomatoes at each other, women dressed in men’s clothes and visa verca.  Soldiers commanded officers 🤭.

In Spain, “the day of the innocent saints” is celebrated, and then in memory of when Herod declared death over all the infants in Bethlehem to annihilate the newborn Jesus of Nazareth.  The Catholic Church celebrates this day on December 28, and is in a sense the Catholic response to non-Catholic’s traditional April Fool’s.  But Spanish media makes it look like absurd media these days, publishing untrue news 🗞.

I have not dared to read either Spanish or Nordic news today.  Maybe there will be an “happy”, but untruthful news about the various negative circumstances that coronavirus and the disease Covid19 have brought about? I find out anyway tomorrow 😊.

I myself have not been so good at making April fools to others, and I haven’t been fooled that often either.  My best April Fool’s I made a few years ago, after I had moved to Spain.  Then I arranged a photo with a white lace dress, rings, jewelry, shoes, flowers – and wrote a vague text on happiness, joy and love.  This is to make people think I should get married.  Some people bet on, but those who know me well didn’t 🤭. And today I did try to make a April fool to my oldest son, and told him that the reason I was so tired now at days was because he was going to be a big brother again 😁. First he did look at me with very big eyes, and then he said “No, it’s not possible. I have been living here for soon 2 months” 😅.

So,- I didn’t manage to do a good and believed April fool this year either 🤭. Have you manage to fool anyone today with a April fool? Or have you any good April fool someone did believe in? 😊

I hope you will have bd get a good day with a touch and two of good humor and April fool in 🤭😅😁.

I wish you a great day or evening wherever in the world you are 🧡. I’m sending you a lots of good thoughts 🧡. And Thank you so much for dropping by my blog today too 🧡.

See you soon 😊

I didn’t have any other “funny fools” available today,- then this “guys” 😁

1. April,- the day when it is allowed to bring out a joke, or fool someone, use a white, humor little like too 🤭. I’m not very good to create April fool, but I have tried now and then 🤭. Have you got or given any funny and good April fools today? 🤭
